August 31, 2003 Chuck Dominates Waterford With 3rd Win Of The Season The NASCAR Featherlite Modified Series was in Waterford, CT for the Big Y World Class Market 150 at the Waterford Speedbowl on August 30, 2003. Chuck qualified the #4 Mystic River Marina Dodge in 2nd place, and wound up with the pole after the top eight qualifiers redrew for starting position. From the drop of the green he never looked back and went on to lead every lap enroute to his 3rd victory of the 2003 season for Bob Garbarino and the Mystic Missile crew. Chuck dedicated the win to Dan Brigham a young man who passed away recently in the Connecticut area. Dan was a friend of crew chief Greg Schroder, on behalf Greg, Chuck, and the team our thoughts and prayers go out to the Brigham family. The win bumps Chuck up to 2nd place in the NASCAR Featherlite Modified Series points chase, 125 behind leader Todd Szegedy (who finished 2nd in the race), and 2 points ahead of John Blewett, III.
