May 21, 2004 Hossfeld Energized for Nazareth Buffalo, NY: Chuck Hossfeld of Buffalo, NY is charged up for this weekend's NASCAR Featherlite Modified Series event at Nazareth Speedway. It is there that he will be able to focus on what he does best, race. During the week Hossfeld reevaluated the commitments he had made for the 2004 season. After spending many hours in deep consideration, the young driver is looking forward to a weekend of racing. "It was a difficult for me to leave the RJR Enterprises Team," said Hossfeld, of his decision to step down as the driver of the team's SK Modified at Stafford Motor Speedway. " But I am pumped up for the this weekend. It's time to move forward, it's time to race." And it just may be time to win. The Mystic Missile Team has a Bud Pole and has led nearly 200 laps this season, however, luck has not been on their side. Hossfeld and company are ready to change all that this weekend at Nazareth. Considered to be a driver's track, the ultra-fast mile track suits Hossfeld driving style perfectly. Hossfeld fully expects to improve on last year's 19th place finish in Sunday's Service Electric 100. Bud Pole qualifying for the Service Electric 100 is scheduled for 10:30 AM on Saturday, May 22, 2004. The Modifieds will take to the track for their main event at approximately 3:30 PM on Sunday.
